Nicole Reise
Firm Administrator

As Firm Administrator, Nicole is responsible for the Operations, HR, Financial Management, IT and Marketing for Shannon & Wright.  Nicole collaborates with the firm’s partners to provide strategic planning and manages staff to ensure efficient daily operations to better serve our clients.

Nicole is a graduate of James Madison University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. She is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators, the Society for Human Resource Management and the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce.

Nicole resides in Loudoun County, with her husband and two children, where she enjoys volunteering with various organizations in her community.

Patti Adams
Paralegal

Patti supports the firm’s Estate and Trust practice with nearly 30 years of paralegal experience.  Prior to joining the firm Patti focused on business and civil litigation with various firms in Northern Virginia. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Elon University.

Patti is an Alexandria native who enjoys traveling and outdoor activities, along with spending time with her first grandchild.

Taylor Blevins
Paralegal

As a Paralegal, Taylor supports the firm’s Real Estate and Litigation practices. Prior to joining Shannon & Wright, Taylor supported the managing partner at a large personal injury firm in Delaware for over three years. Taylor is a Towson University graduate and recently relocated to Southern Maryland from her hometown in Elkton, Maryland.

In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with her two dogs, being outdoors, and camping.

Susan Marshall
Billing Coordinator & Paralegal

Susan supports the firm’s attorneys and administration as Billing Coordinator and Paralgeal, Susan has over three decades of experience in the land title insurance and settlement arena and serving as a paralegal where she supported a boutique law firm focusing on estate planning and settlements, and real property matters.  She is a graduate of George Mason University with a BA in communications, concentrating on mid-century American Literature. Susan is a member of the Virginia Land Title Association, and was awarded 2024 Volunteer of the Year.

A native Washingtonian, Susan remains committed to her roots and now claims what was once her elementary school, as her voting precinct. Susan spends her free time with family in conservation of forested acreage in the Potomac Highlands, and of Edward Hopper’s Marshall’s House on Cape Cod.

Abby Weaver
Intake Coordinator

As Intake Coordinator, Abby oversees the firm’s intake process for potential new clients and supports firm management with general administration and business development initiatives. Prior to joining Shannon & Wright, Abby worked in Attorney Engagement at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Abby earned her Bachelor of Strategic Communications from Elon University and lives in Arlington, VA. Outside of work she enjoys all that soccer offers and seeing live music.
